Brief/ Process

Brief:
Scribbler cards and paper competition
Create 3 card designs and one sheet of A2 repeat pattern design for wrapping paper.
Keep the imagery original adn create new conecpts.
Scribbler is playful in the cards they stock so keep things tongue and cheek.

Process:
The paper design came before any of the card designs as I was thinking of taking a summer fruits approach with my submission. Much of this collection was pretty straight forward in that my initial ideas ended up working the best. However, it was the actual drawing that took me te most amount of time as each fruit asset was individually drawn to detail. In total all cards and paper took me 32 hours to fully illustrate.
I am really satisfied with this collection as I love the final outcomes, but I also found this newer style of illustration for me was a very valuble excercise.
